Started bowling career at Harkins Palace in
1960. All-events champion twice -1973 and 1978 - which qualified her to bowl in National
Queen's tournament. National 600 Club tournament champion in Denver in 1976. City 600
champion in 1971. Metro 600 champion in 1979. St. Paul All-City team for nine years and
was "Queen" five of those years. Career high game of 279 and high series of 708
and 7l5. Last ten years has averaged over 180. Highest league average in 1975-76 of 191.
The 715 series was rolled in Baltimore in the 1981 WIBC National Tournament which is the
third highest three-game series in WIBC history. This series also helped her gain a tie
for third place in the open all-events division with a 1894. Was selected to bowl in the
1981 Tournament of the America's, representing the United States, winning second place in
the Ladies all events as well as two other seconds and one third place in other events.
She also competed in the U.S. Team trials for the 1981 FIQ Tournament and finished seventh
which qualified her to represent the United States in the first World Games competition.
She won four bronze medals for third place finishes in various events.
