Joining the staff of the American Bowling
Congress in 196l, has risen to his present rank of Executive Secretary-Treasurer of our
nation's tenpin governing body. Past president (1957-58) of the Greater St. Paul Bowling
Association., following which he served as secretary for a period of three years. During
his reign as secretary the official average book of the Association got its start. Prior
to his ABC assignment, served on the local board of directors for a period of ten years
and was also a member of the State board for two years. Began his bowling career while
still in high school, rolling in AJBC leagues. Has rolled a number of 700 totals and
averaged 200 at least one year after becoming an ABC staff member.
