In 1982-83 claimed both the Bertha McBride Memorial for high single game in the team event with 257 and the Virginia Pechacek Memorial for high series in the team event with 62l. In 1980-81 led the 20,000 plus St. Paul women bowlers with a high series of 709. That same year and again in 1981-82 led all St. Paul women with high averages of back-to-back 191's. Currently tied with Kathryn McGill for the most 700 totals by a St. Paul woman, each having six. Had three during the 1985-86 season and thirty-one 600 totals for the same year Won the LCBA in April, 1986 and also has two GLIT (Great Lakes Invitational Tournament) titles to her credit. In 1978 had a 652 scratch in leading her Schanno Trans. team to the championship of the Fraulein Kegler in St Cloud. Posted a 609 scratch as Schanno again won Fraulein Kegler in 1980. Has been on numerous championship teams in the Northwest Masters, St. Paul All Star and Cameron Classic leagues. Has make the finals (match game) in LCBA and GLIT tournaments many times and has bowled in several Big Brothers and Big Sisters meets plus doing many charity events in the Metro area. Has competed in ten WIBC tournaments. In 1985 placed 10th in the National 600 Club tourney in Toledo. That same year her team had the high actual series in the Women's State tourney, 2726. Gwen contributed a 625. In 1983, fired a 279 game in the Men's CBA tournament in Las Vegas, NV. In 1982, won the LCBA title at Texa-Tonka Lanes with a 738 total for three games, 954 total for four games, and 1817 for eight games.
