The first Treasurer of the Minnesota Men's State Bowling Association from 1928 to 1953. From 1922 to 1946 served as the Greater St. Paul Bowling Association's Treasurer. In 1946 was honored at a dinner for serving 25 years as association Treasurer which, according to the ABC, was the longest on record for any association treasurer. The only man to win the St. Paul City Singles title two years in succession. He won the first of those two titles in 1938 with 697 and the following year with 705.
