Started bowling in 1971. In 1985, finished
2nd in Minnesota BPAA US Open qualifying. Placed in top 24 in Team USA National finals in
1991. Finished in the top 64 in the 1987 and 1991 WIBC Queen's Tournaments. Finished 2nd
in TEAM USA regional qualifying in 1988 and 1991. Was the Minnesota State TEAM USA Amateur
champion for the years 1988, 1990 and 1991. In 1987, finished 3rd in Regional Ladies
Professional Bowling Tournament. Member of Minnesota "State" 1993 Mixed Team
champions. Member of Alexandria's "Garden Center" 1990 Tournament's Team
champions and a member of St. Cloud's "Fruelein Kegle" 1990 Tournament's Team
champions. Was a member of the 1992-93 Women's Eau Claire, Wisconsin Team champions. Won
Actual Singles with 688 and Actual All Events with 1914 in the 1993-94 Women's Eau Claire,
Wisconsin tournament. Was a member of the 1993-94 St. Paul "City" Actual and
Handicap Team champions which, as of 1994, set a 53 year "City" team scoring
record with an actual 3181. Was a member of the 1994-95 St. Paul "City" Actual
and Handicap Team champions which, as of 1995, beat the "City" team scoring
record they set in the previous year with an actual 3206. Won the Minneapolis
"City" Doubles Actual and Handicap titles in 1994-95. Was a member of the
"Mixed Foursome" team which, in 1994-95, set the WIBC/ABC National record for
"Mixed Foursomes" in both high Actual Team Series with 2893 (a 241 average) and
Actual Team Game with 982 (a 245.5 average). Won one LCBA title and was a member of two
LCBA All Star teams and a member of two LCBA All Star second teams. Won three Minneapolis
"City" Actual Team titles and won the 1990-91 Virginia Pechacek Memorial Award.
Was a member of St. Paul's All-City team three times and an "Honorable Mention"
member of St. Paul's All-City team three times. Has rolled numerous 600 plus series, 31 -
700 plus series, one 299, two 300s, a high series of 805 and has a high final season
average to date of 210. Inducted in 1994 to the "Minneapolis Hall of Fame" in
the Superior Performance Category. Inducted in 1997 to the Minnesota State Hall of Fame
for Superior Performance.
