Started bowling in 1955. Her career bowling
accomplishments make her, arguably, one of Minnesota's best lady left-handers of all time.
Was a member of the Minnesota Mudhens team which won an Actual Team championship in St.
Paul's "City" tournament. In 1988, won Rosemount's Ladies Central Bowlers
Association (LCBA) tournament. Was LCBA "Bowler Of The Year" for the 1986-87
bowling season. Won the Team Scratch title for MWBA with the Mudhens in 1988. In 1989-90
won first place scratch doubles title for MWBA. Was a member of the LCBA Metro Bowler
All-Star team two times and an LCBA All-Star second team member one time. Was a member of
St. Paul's All-City team five times and an "Honorable Mention" member of St.
Paul's All-City team four times. High single game is 300 and high series is 759. As of
1995, her 300 along with a 300 rolled by her husband, Joe, put them in a unique club with
only two other husband/wife duos in Minnesota who have accomplished the same feat. Has
rolled numerous 600-or-more series, eleven 700-or-more series including the 759 which led
St. Paul ladies in high series for the 1990-91 season. Her high final season average to
date is 206.
