Started bowling in 1958 and has 7 Championships with Bestline and was the anchor in 2000 when they won the St. Paul Team Challenge.  He has won 2 entries into Pro Regional Tourneys at Cedarvale Lanes and made top 16 in both.  Finished 4th in Senior Regional in 1999 at Village North and won the “Horse’s Butt” award at the 1999 ‘700’ Club Dinner. 

His national accomplishments include the following : 201.3 average for 27 years at the ABC National tournament, 6 all events totals that are 1942 or better with 12 being over 1800, 9th in All Events at Tulsa in 1993 with a 2163 total pin fall, 15th on the 10 year Leader Board with a 208 Average for the years 1985-1994.  His state accomplishments include a win in the Doubles with John Albert in Brainerd and a 2nd in the State in the 1980’s.  City Accomplishments include: First Actual Singles in 98-99 at White Bear Bowl with a 790 and a first Actual All Events with a 2145. 

Other accomplishments are 15-300 games, 7-299 games, 2-298 game, 2-800’s with a High Series of 805, Hi Average of 235 and numerous 700 series (50 in 99-00 alone), St. Paul Masters Champ in 1993 at Midway Pro Bowl, Runner up in the first Senior Masters held at Drkula’s in 1998, Midwest Senior Bowler of the year for the years 1997 through 1999, MSC #1 Team for the years 1996-00, has 4 MSC titles, and has been selected to be on the St. Paul All-City Team nine times (5 times as a First Team).
