Began bowling in 1942 at the ripe old age of 28. Tournament Accomplishments are: St. Paul City Singles Title in 1962-63 with a 704; the 700 Club Class "C" Title in 1982 with 809 for 4 games; the 700 Club Class "C" Title in 1984 with 811 for 4 games; the St. Paul City Scratch Team Title in 1966-67.

His highest league Average was 209 and rolled a high game of 299 with many 700 series to his credit.

Director of the Greater St. Paul Bowling Association from 1964-1980. Elected President of the Greater St. Paul Bowling Association for the 1974-75 Bowling Season. Bowled in the St. Paul All Star League for 25 years.
