Paulette started
her bowling career in 1964 in the 3M Women's League at Weber's Bowl in
North St Paul. Some of her national honors are: 2nd place in All
Events Division I in 1995 with a score of 1806 9missed 1st place by 1
pin); 5th place Division 1 Team Event in 1995 with a 605 and a team score
of 2783; tied for 20th place in 1986 National 600 tournament with a 611;
and her team finished in 12th place in the 1986 WIBC Team Event with a
2779. She competed for USA qualifying in 1990 by finishing in the
top ten in State qualifying. Her State accomplishment is a 1st
place in the State 600 tournament in 1996 with a 299 game and a 710
series. Her local accomplishments are : 1st place in the 1988 St
Paul city All Events with an 1827; 1st place Metro 600 Tournament with
a Scratch Series of 628 in 1988; 2nd place in the City Doubles with a 670
in 1988; 2nd place in 1984 City All Events; and a 1st place Team in the
2003 city tournament with a 577.
Paulette has bowled 3-700's and was an honorable mention in the All City Team in 1984085. she has been the President of the 600 club since 1995 and was a director from 1981-1990 and vice president for the years 1990-1995. Paulette's high game is 299, high series is 720 and her highest average is 188. She has participated as a league secretary/treasurer and/or vice president for various leagues since 1971 and has been a member of 16 league championship teams during her career. She was also a member of the All-American Fast pitch Softball team in 1979 and was inducted into the Minnesota State Softball Hall of Fame in 1996. |
