Duane Started bowling in 1956.  National accomplishments include First Century Doubles Winner in 2005 USBC.  State accomplishments include a First Place in MN Mixed Team in 1999 with a 2706.  City accomplishments include an Actual Team Championship in City Tournament in 1983 with a3069 total.  other accomplishments include Champion in Tribune Classic in 1971 with an 889; a member of the All City Team in 1968-69; member of the St Paul Mixed Team Scratch Champions with a high series of 767 and Scratch All Events Champion in the Knights of Columbus tournament with a 2101 in 2004.  Junior Bowling Coach for 28 years.

Duane has bowled 3 - 300 games, an high series of 767 and a high average of 213.  Duane started Junior Scholarship Program with Mama and Papa Vitale Tournament in 1993 and has ran the tournament ever since.  He is currently serving as a Director in the St Paul United States Bowling Congress Association and Head Coach of North St. Paul high School.
